Description
Striim License Renewals YVW previously engaged Amdocs through a tender process for design and development of its Enterprise Data Analytics platform. This is a critical project and sets up YVW to effectively manage its data over the next decade. As part of this engagement, Amdocs recommended using Change Data Capture tools such as Qlik or Striim. The YVW Data and Analytics Team reviewed the recommended tools and their relative functionalities, selecting Striim as the preferred tool which meets both current and projected business requirements. YVW sought independent quotations directly from license provider Striim, as well as their authorised reseller Amdocs. In a typical procurement scenario, YVW would source independent quotations via an open market tender process through Nimblex, however this does not allow us to procure additional Azure cloud software as we would not receive 7% discount on bundled Microsoft Azure consumption.
