Description
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA’s) current Azure Platform is complex in design and does not support departmental wide adoption and growing business demand. The engagement of an external vendor is to provide an end-to-end service offering which includes a well-defined reference architecture, best practice, standards, design patterns and a structured cost charge back model for DEECA’s Azure Cloud Services Platform. In addition, the work includes the implementation and migration of 62 DEECA Azure subscriptions (accounts) to a new Azure Landing Zone based on Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework. The business benefits to DEECA from this delivery includes a cost effective, sustainable, flexible and secure Azure services on which business groups can build, run, monitor and maintain applications and services that meet business needs, as well as enabling faster ICT solution delivery to accommodate new build requests. This procurement request is to approve the professional services engagement of Fujitsu Australia to complete the deliverables required to uplift the current state Azure Cloud Platform.
